The UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences and PEMCO Insurance are once again partnering to bring together climate and wildfire experts to reflect on the 2019 wildfire season and discuss what we can expect next year.
Harris Clarke, PEMCO Vice President of Operations, will moderate a panel discussion that covers topics related to climate change and future risks in order to adapt and create safer communities.
This discussion will be hosted by the Pacific Science Center, who has encouraged us to visit their Wildfire exhibit after the panel discussion to learn more about how wildfire effects our communities and test our knowledge of common wildfire hazards. Admission is free!
We invite you to come prepared with your questions and curiosity to learn more.
When: Thursday, Oct. 10, 4 – 6 p.m.
Where: Pacific Science Center, Laser Dome (free admission)
