Do you love animals? That’s the only prerequisite you need! No matter what your major is or career path you plan on pursuing, this UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences course is for you. ESRM 150: Wildlife in the Modern World covers major wildlife conservation issues in North America, including global issues. Interested students need only to have an interest in wildlife.

In the course, SEFS associate professor Laura Prugh covers topics including large predators and marine animals, effects of toxic chemicals on wildlife, old-growth wildlife, and recovery of the bald eagle and gray wolf.
