I am pleased to inform you of Haida Gwaii Institute’s inaugural offering of the professional development course Navigating Canadian Law and Policy Regarding Indigenous Peoples, which will take place April 28-30, 2020 at the Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llnagaay.

This 3-day professional development program is an opportunity for representatives from diverse sectors including industry, non-government and government organizations (Indigenous, federal, provincial and municipal) to come together to develop understanding, tools and strategies for successful collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses, organizations and communities, within the context of recognizing and upholding the rights of Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
