The GREEN Program presents
Global Sustainability Expo – March 30th, 2021

This virtual expo will allow students, faculty, and sustainability professionals to explore TGP’s location specific sessions and learn from global professionals in sustainability. Meet TGP’s international team members, and gain local insights into real-world sustainability challenges around the world today.

Dr. Juliet Newson

Dr. Newson comes to Iceland from the New Zealand geothermal industry and the International Geothermal Association, where she has been involved in tertiary-level energy education both in New Zealand, and internationally. She served on the Board as Chair of the Education Committee and as the President of the International Geothermal Association.
She is currently the Director of Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavik University.


Halla Hrund Logadottir

Ms. Logadóttir is the Founder of the Arctic Innovation Lab; a platform established to encourage solution-based dialogue on Arctic challenges. Previously, she was the director of the Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavík University where she continues to lecture on Arctic policy.

She is currently the Co-founder and Director of the Arctic Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School, where she also teaches the Arctic course.
