Meet Lead Instructor Geoff Gallice

PHD IN ENTOMOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

Geoff is a tropical biologist and conservationist with a research focus on tropical butterflies and several ongoing projects that study biodiversity, ecology, and evolution in southeastern Peru. A Wildlands Studies instructor since 2012, Geoff leads our Peru, Ecuador and Florida programs. In 2016, Geoff founded the Alliance for a Sustainable Amazon, a non-profit aimed at conserving Amazonian biodiversity and natural resources through sustainable agriculture, biological research and monitoring, and community engagement and education.

This summer Geoff will lead a NEW two-week field course in Maine (webpage coming soon)!
