Each year, graduate students at the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences run an awesome workshop on the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship application process. The info session for the workshop is coming up next month – I’ve copied the announcement below!
Are you interested in applying for the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) this upcoming fall? SAFS offers a student-led workshop which covers the application process and pairs applicants with student mentors with GRFP experience to help construct the two written components of the application. In preparation for the Autumn Quarter SAFS NSF GRFP Workshop and to get you thinking about your application sooner, we are offering an informational session about GRFP application eligibility and the workshop on Wednesday,June 5th, from 4:30 – 5:30 pm in FISH 203.
If you are even remotely interested or curious about applying for the NSF GRFP, we encourage you to join usfor this informational session. You can RSVP by filling out the following form: http://bit.ly/NSFGRFPworkshopinfo
Please note that participation in the info session is not mandatory for participation in the Workshop this fall — we will have a separate enrollment for the NSF GRFP Workshop sometime in August.
