TGP’s Winter & Spring 2021 programs will be transitioned to online or hybrid formats, while Summer 2021 programs are planned to be held in-person at the moment.
Iceland – The director of the capital area health centers says he believes that everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccine could get it within a matter of days as Iceland plans how to vaccinate the country against the Coronavirus.
A travel ban is ongoing. Exemptions are available under certain circumstances, such as attending school. Upon entry into Iceland, travelers must submit to a COVID-19 test and isolate until the results come back, or choose to self-quarantine for 14 days rather than submit to the COVID-19 test. Direct flights to Peru from certain locations in the U.S. have resumed. Passengers must show a negative COVID test that is no more than 72 hours old after being issued, before boarding the plane. Read more here.
All travelers entering Japan, including residents and dual national citizens, are required to take a PCR test at the airport and self-quarantine for 14 days. Travel for tourism is still not permitted, but is planned to reopen in Spring 2021. Read more here.
