This Spring, the Applied Math diversity committee will be organizing the fourth iteration of the Women in Applied Math Mentorship program (WAMM). In essence, this directed reading-style program pairs undergraduates with female graduate student mentors from the department to work on a quarter-long project involving an applied math-related field of interest. The committee strongly encourages women who are in their junior years to apply. Preference will be given to students who have not had access to extensive research opportunities.
