Whether your skills can best help craft a modern social media strategy, rapidly prototype a hardware solution, solve a web/mobile/app development problem, or research a tech topic of need for military commanders, we have amazing challenges to be solved that require your expertise.
A few example projects for THIS summer are:
Develop extended reality (AR/VR) systems for a virtual training cockpit to aid the US Air Force
Help the DoD and Intelligence Community integrate data and intelligence across various database
Help DoD Pathologists and radiologists develop a more efficient means of processing lung scans in order to more quickly diagnose patients and begin treatment plans
Assist mobile light land forces enable sustained operations in austere environments over extended time frames through the use of renewable energy solutions in order to minimize their need for fossil fuels

We are offering both full time fellowships (paid by DoD, ~$2,500+/month), located in the vicinity of the military unit (depending on the COVID-19 situation), and also remote unpaid fellowships for students already committed to other summer activities but still want to be involved (reduced workload of 5-10 hours per week). The cohort will run from June 1-August 13, 2021 with flexibility on the exact start/end date depending on availability.
