Humans of SEFS is a project that aims to highlight all the people that make up SEFS. Every person in SEFS brings something unique and individual to the table and this project aims to showcase the people who are a part of the SEFS community. Below is the first in the series:

“After graduating from UW, I went to the Amazonian rainforest to lead bird research for a non-profit organization called Fauna Forever. One year later, I came to the University of Florida for my Ph.D., studying the behavior and conservation of birds in Southwestern China. Currently, I’m getting ready to head into the field and collect data for my dissertation. I would encourage ESRM students to be proactive by reaching out to professors and seeking volunteer/internship/job opportunities that bring them invaluable experiences. ESRM is a big family full of great people who want to help you. Get to know them.”
