As a unit of one of the world’s premier public research universities and the largest college of the environment in the country, the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences is committed to producing new disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge to advance our understanding and management of environmental and natural resource issues. Our faculty use engineering and natural and social science in their work, which is aimed at developing renewable forest products, stewarding forest and landscape ecosystems for a range of functions and services and understanding the social, economic and environmental consequences of stewardship and production choices.
