The Scan Design Foundation has student fellowships and funding to support faculty travel. You can apply to receive funding to support a semester or year-long study abroad in Denmark. The Scan Design Foundation will award $9,000/semester for graduate, $7,500 for undergrads. Up to $4,500 is available for summer or an independent study. The last info session will be held Wednesday, January 9th at 11:00am in the Study Abroad Office Schmitz 459.

Study abroad programs in France or Italy are now recruiting for 2020-2021, you can earn 15 UW credits in Paris, Nantes, or Rome while studying abroad! Begin or continue French or Italian in-country! Programs are affordable, applying is easy, and you can continue working toward your degree while studying abroad in France or Italy. Want to learn more? On March 11, 2011, Fukushima, Japan was hit by Tōhoku’s 9.0 magnitude earthquake in addition to a massive tsunami with waves more than 10 meters high. As a result, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant led to three nuclear meltdowns, hydrogen-air chemical explosions, and the release of radioactive material sending waves of concern across the international nuclear industry. Three years after the accident, the providence of Fukushima has pledged to be sourced by 100% renewable sources by 2040.Are you interested in any of the following?
