← Back to News and Events Sep 25, 2019 Two SEFS students named NASA fellows Lauren Satterfield, left, and Catherine Breen both received NASA fellowships for their research. Another School of Environmental and Forest Sciences student has been named as a recipient of a prestigious NASA fellowship that funds student research projects in the fields of Earth and planetary sciences and astrophysics. Catherine Breen, a master’s student in SEFS, has received the fellowship to study how changing snow conditions as a result of climate change will impact wildlife populations and behavior. Last month, it was announced that Lauren Satterfield, a Ph.D. student with SEFS, was awarded a NASA fellowship to study the roles of predators and their prey. Congratulations to both students!
