SEFS IT has a departmental website with information about services, classroom technology, desktop support, and purchasing. For any of these needs or for general contact information please visit the IT website. SEFS IT uses the UW Service UW Connect to manage support requests. Computer Lab Locations
Anderson 116 – Two computers may be available in Anderson 116, but due to Covid-19 safety procedures, this room will have irregular open hours while the building is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Madrona Virtual Desktops – Students may use the Madrona (formerly Gibson) Virtual Desktops from home or elsewhere over the Internet. The VMWare Client will need to be installed on the student’s personal computer.
Bloedel 261 Teaching Lab – Bloedel 261 is a teaching lab, intended for classes that involve computer related research and learning; it is not open for general computer use. The lab contains 30 Madrona thin client workstations. For information on scheduling classes in 261, please contact sefsadv@uw.edu.
Other University Computer Labs – Use UW SpaceScout to find computer labs and study spaces anywhere on the UW main campus.
