An ongoing study of the relationships between Washington predators and their prey that involves three UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences graduate students received new attention last month. That’s because the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife released a 13-minute video at a WA DNR commission meeting to show the purpose of the multiyear study, according to a recent story by The Spokesman-Review.Read more

The first SEFS Seminar of the spring quarter 2021 will be presented by Ruth DeFries, a professor of ecology and sustainable development at Columbia University in New York.
DeFries will present “Lessons from Nature for an Uncertain Future” at 3:30 p.m.
