The UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences is proud to welcome Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant, wildlife ecologist and conservation scientist, as the 2022 Sustaining Our World Speaker.
Dr. Wynn-Grant, who is also a National Geographic Fellow, will present “Ecology, Evolution, & Intersectional Identities: Reimagining Environmental Education,” and a short Q&A will be held after the presentation.

A UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences research professor has been appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to an advisory committee.
Professor Sally Brown was recently appointed by Secretary Tom Vilsack to the Urban Agriculture and Innovation Production Federal Advisory Committee, which aims to “advise the Secretary on the development of policies and outreach relating to urban, indoor and other emerging agricultural production practices,” the declaration read.
