New app encourages kids to find interest in neighborhood crows
A new app developed by School of Environmental and Forest Sciences professor John Marzluff and his wife Colleen will allow kids to become corvid researchers.
The free app, called Crow Scientist, coaches kids to pay attention to what the crows in their neighborhood are doing.
BSE program receives renewal of accreditation
The UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences’ Bioresource Sciences and Engineering (BSE) program has once again been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
The program is one of 10 engineering programs at UW to be awarded the accreditation for the next six years, and is one of six of these programs in which no deficiencies, weaknesses or concerns were found.
