Theil is interested in the spatial and temporal trends of wildlife and how these trends are altered by climate change and urbanization. Her goal is to utilize research to develop management strategies and restoration plans to protect the forests of the Pacific Northwest. She has career experience in wildlife biology, forest management, and restoration.
