SEFS and UW Student Organizations
Students are encouraged to participate in clubs and professional organizations, which can help establish career-building networks and create lifelong friendships, and the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences has student groups to choose from. There are also numerous environmentally oriented student groups across the UW that SEFS students can join.
Publicizing your Current Student Organization with SEFS Students or Starting a New Student Organization
Please publicize your existing student organization with you student colleagues by contacting SEFS Advising – sefsadv@uw.edu (undergraduates) or sefsgpa@uw.edu (graduates) – we look forward to publicizing your events and activities. SEFS Advising can also assist you if you want to start a new student organization or need to update your organization’s information on this list.
Funding for your SEFS Student Organization
SEFS has limited endowment funds to support the activities of its student organizations. If your Registered Student Organization would like to apply for funding (up to $500 per year) please apply below:
Please note that students will now be able to request annual funding every quarter (except summer), so if you miss the deadline this quarter, you will have another opportunity the following quarter.
